Cocktail (keur)
Cocktail's sire Purioso was known in the 1990s as a sporthorse producer as much for dressage as jumping. Purioso had three "Olympic" sons -- Olympic Wendela, Olympic Ambush and Olympic Cocktail. Purioso is a son of the leading German stallion Furioso II. Furioso II, with at least 68 approved sons and 200 state premium mares, has influenced breeding worldwide. The full brother of Furioso II is the French stallion Mexico, whose son Le Mexico is a producer of top sporthorses, including Olympic Pride, Olympic Briljant and Olympic Rad Boy. Cocktail's dam, keur preferent Ulissa (by Le Val Blanc XX) is also the dam of the approved stallion Falco (by Pele).
Cocktail was one of the leaders of his year at the stallion performance test. He was the discovery of the 1990 National Stallion Dressage Competition where he won convincingly. In 1995, he was awarded Horse of the Year. He was ridden Grand Prix dressage by Anky van Grunsven to many international wins, including Amsterdam, Aachen, Arhus, Helsinki, Schoten, Paris, Pamfou and Wembley.
Cocktail's offspring show good rhythm and balance in a spacious trot and great suppleness in an excellent canter. Cocktail has five approved sons in the Netherlands: Havel, Hierarch, Jazz, Jordan, Nourejev, Hurcarlos and Hawthorne. Havel is with Anky van Grunsven at Prix St. Georges. Jazz is with Tineke Bartels. Cocktail has regularly been number one on the Dutch Dressage Index.
Cocktail died suddenly of cardiac arrest at the age of 15 on February 12, 1999. He received keur status as a result of his performance in international dressage with Anky van Grunsven, and also because of the superior quality of his offspring. There is no semen remaining from this stallion.
Cocktail is the sire of Foal's Paradise mare Joyride.

Damiro
International Showjumping Stallion by G. Ramiro Z.
In 1988, Damiro was Champion of his performance test with five 9s and two 8.5s. Damiro jumps very carefully and skillfully with a good lift-off, a sound technique and an excellent eye for a stride. He took first place in the A category jumping of the 1989/90 National Stallion Competition. In 1992, Damiro made his international Grand Prix debut. Damiro has especially good foals. They are noted as being well-developed, with excellent legs with solid joints. They show outstanding movement, particularly a superior trot. G. Ramiro Z. (preferant) 1965 - 1995
Foundation Stallion for KWPN Breeding
G. Ramiro Z., a Holsteiner by birth, has already been labelled "Stallion of the Century." He was conceived in Holstein, born in Westfalia, licensed in Neumunster, and was an international jumper under Fritz Ligges. Ramiro himself was tremendously successful at showjumping, with many wins in Nations Cups, Puissance and international Grand Prix competition. Ramiro influences nearly all European performance studbooks. It is impossible to underestimate Ramiro's influence on Dutch Warmblood breeding, or to catalog the success of his many, many outstanding offspring. To name just a handful of the hundreds, are Ratina Z, the gold medal showjumping winner at Barcelona and the World Cup winner in 1992, as well as the approved stallions Rinaldo, Rio Negro (a Grand Prix dressage horse trained by Willi Schultheis), Ronald (long the most popular Holstein stallion, having himself sired five approved sons), Zeoliet and Damiro (both of whom have sired approved sons), Armstrong, Bernstein, Dageraad, Elmero B and Horatio, among others.
Ramiro's dam is the Torette, daughter of H. Alme Z, the great show jumper producer of this century, known through, among others, Galoubet and I Love You and, not least, his approved son Jalisco B. Torette comes from one of the first and thus oldest riding horse lines in the Netherlands to concentrate on the production of showjumpers. Other names in this lineate are Adorette, Grandioso, Ne Souci, Texas and The Blind and, in the U.S.A., Saboteur, Avandro and Palet. Further on the dam's side is D Sans Souci, who jumped at the Olympic Games in Munich and in Aachen cleared a 2.20 meter wall.
Ramiro died in 1995.

Zeoliet (keur)
Zeoliet is by the modern breeding stallion Ramiro, who has been called "Euro-stallion." Ramiro is the sire of several approved stallions. Zeoliet's dam Sargab was declared "preferent" at the age of 10, which made her the youngest "prestatie" mare in the Netherlands. She also produced the Z-level dressage horses Wirbeleau and Bauxiet. The dam's sire is the thoroughbred Abgar, one of the most influential Dutch sport horse producers (including Ommen, Jabgar, Treffer and Valeur), and tenth place in the international breeding index. At the stallion test in Ermelo, Zeoliet earned a 9.2 for dressage, a 9 for jumping under saddle, and a 9.5 for free jumping. Zeoliet himself competed internationally at ZZ level dressage with Roger Schulkens. Zeoliet has been consistently high in the international index for producing both dressage horses and jumpers.
