Litigator is by the internationally acclaimed, keur stallion Zeoliet. Zeoliet is consistently high in the international index for producing both dressage horses and jumpers. Zeoliet is by the legendary G. Ramiro Z., world renowned for producing outstanding, athletic offspring. Litigator's dam is Butopia, a keur mare by the world class Le Mexico, also a keur stallion, as well an exceptional international jumper and producer of countless fine dressage horses. Litigator's pedigree is exceptional, with all keurs in the second generation, and of the four third generation horses, two are keur, one is preferant, and one is keur preferant prestatite.
In his first year of training, as a 4 year old, Litigator was 4th nationally in the KWPN USDF Horse of the Year standings, and 8th All Breeds, with an average dressage score over 73%. Litigator's correct walk, powerful trot and huge canter, as well as his focussed mind, are responsible for his exceptional dressage talent. As a 5 year old, Litigator was placed in jumping training for the first time. Litigator has proven to be a powerful jumper with a bold smooth style, and consistently jumped high preliminaries double clear. As a 6 year old, he started showing as a hunter. In August of 1999, Litigator was Hunter Champion (tied) at HITS in Ellenville, NY, and is consistently in the ribbons in the hunter ring.
At the Journey's End recognized dressage show in the summer of 2002, Litigator won his Second Level Test 4 class with a score of 62.9%. Now training Prix St. Georges.
